The collaboration between Urban Electric Co. and Taylor Howes was initiated through a mutual passion for distinctive design, superb craftsmanship and materials.
The Collection
Each of the four lights were crafted with private clients and other designers in mind, to provide transformative lights that can achieve different moods. The collection takes its cue from the world of fine jewellery and techniques or ornate detailing and precious materials.
The Story
At the helm of Taylor Howes is Karen Howes whose creativity, flair and vision has ensured the company goes from strength to strength. Karen is well supported by her excellent team at Taylor Howes – her four Directors have notched up nearly 60 years between them working for the practise. Here she explains the inspiration behind the studio’s collaboration with the Urban Electric Co.
