The Rainbow Room at Christie’s has been designed by jewellery designer Solagne Azagury for ONE: A Global Sale of the 20th Centre, using a kaleidoscope of colour velvets, all by Colefax & Fowler.

All the fabric from this beautiful installation will be donated to our Rest Nest Charitable initiative  at St Mary’s hospital in partnership with 1928 Project, in which we will be converting and upgrading rest areas for NHS staff.

“As it went on, I realized the rainbow is so universal, isn’t it?” Azagury-Partridge adds. “It represents the NHS, it represents Pride. It’s just a universal, beautiful, magical symbol, and I think it’s great that it’s been used for the NHS. It’s so uplifting and positive and that’s always my reason for using it. It gives one a feeling of happiness.”
