Place2Be Carol Concert

Virtual Carol Concert –

This year Christmas is probably going to be a little different, but children’s mental health charity Place2Be’s Christmas Carol Concert promises to be the highlight of your festive calendar.

The virtual event on Thursday 3 December, from 6.30pm, will be packed with festive cheer, carols, live performances and readings, all of which you can enjoy from the comfort of your sofa.

The event will be co-hosted by acclaimed singer, pianist and songwriter Joe Stilgoe, and broadcaster, journalist and charity ambassador Katie Thistleton.

‘Virtual guests will also enjoy seasonal readings from Place2Be Ambassador and author Sophie Dahl, award-winning actors Keira Knightley, Damian Lewis, actor and comedian Ben Miller, children’s TV personality Rhys Stevenson, and stage, television and film actor Nina Sosanya. The Carols will be led by Soprano Laura Wright, together with the St Marylebone Parish choir.

Place2Be will be live-streaming all the action from the beautiful St Marylebone Parish Church in London. So ticketholders from around the UK can enjoy all the usual festive fun – carols, celebrity readings and more – all from the comfort of their own homes.

Tickets are on sale now, starting at £20 from the Place2Be website. All proceeds will go towards the vital work Place2Be does supporting children’s mental health in schools across the UK
