Kit Kemp, Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, McQueens Florist, Taylor Howes and a host of prolific names from the world of design, floristry and art have come together in aid of this year’s Place2be wreath Raffle.

The Christmas Wreath Raffle is one of the most successful annual donation and funding events in the quest to raise vital funds for children’s mental health charity, Place2Be, of which HRH The Duchess of Cambridge is Royal Patron. This wonderful festive charity initiative sees the world of creativity and Christmas magic come together, resulting in a stunning display of six Christmas Wreaths which can be won via a raffle ticket for just £10.

This year’s wreath designers include a collaboration by renowned florist Larry Walshe and influencer Emily Johnston, who have codesigned a festive decoration to evoke the senses. With mental health at its design core, this wellness-inspired design, entitled ​​Seasonal Serenity, incorporates a combination of uplifting scents and colours including lavender and pine which are associated with aromatherapy, amidst an array of additional boosting attributes – perfect for fighting any winter blues.

Inspired by the spirit of the roaring 20s, when a feeling of anticipation and carefree abandon was in the air, Martin Brudnizki Design Studio has designed a Christmas wreath that celebrates the return of Christmas. A disco-inspired wreath glistening in colour and panache heralds’ glad tidings and encourages a return to revelry, excess and enjoyment. Christmas is back and with a sparkle!

Influencer Nathan Rollinson is taking part with a traditional Georgian-inspired Christmas wreath, crafted from green foliage, off-white pine cones, scented eucalyptus, mistletoe and a voluptuous olive velvet bow. Working with florist John Carter, the wreath has been inspired by the Georgian city of Bath and has been designed with the era in mind. Again, this year Taylor Howes is taking part in the Christmas Wreath Raffle and is this year collaborating with gallerist Charles Burnand. The wreath is made up of a specialist finish called Mica which creates a beautiful sparkle and glow emblematic of this festive time of year.

Tablescape-specialist Gemma Martinez de Ana of Pimlico Road boutique Bonadea has joined forces with renowned McQueen’s florists to design a christmas wreath that reflects the beauty of Bonadea’s ethos and shop interiors. Working with plaster-specialists Locker & Riley, Gemma has commissioned the artisans to create delicate butterflies and bees which will be woven into the verdant Christmas wreath. Each butterfly and bee will be detachable and will double up as Christmas decorations for years to come.
